24 Hour Technical Hardware Diagnosis
At CompuBasics, we understand that problems don't always occur during regular business hours. Only CompuBasics's Smartplan provides members with toll free access to our Multi-Lingual technical diagnostic representatives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! If you should experience a problem with your equipment during the entire term of your Smartplan coverage, call us toll free and our representatives will assist you. Whether it's over the phone technical diagnosis of your hardware, or simply understanding your manufacturer's warranty, we're here to help get you warranty verification for your covered product. We will diagnose the problem and, if a hardware failure is detected, we will provide you with a repair order number and service will be dispatched. If the problem is found to be related to a software issue or the item is still subject to the terms of the manufacturers warranty, we will give you the proper numbers to contact at the manufacturer and make our best effort to connect you. Just one call to our toll free service plan centre does it all.

Comprehensive Parts & Labour Coverage
Smartplan covers all mechanical and electrical defects that would normally be covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. Even if the cost of labour and parts increases over time, Smartplan is there to protect you.

3 Repair Options Including On-Site
Our comprehensive plan comes with three convenient repair solutions: On-site, Overnight pick-up, or Carry In. If our technical support representatives cannot solve your problem over the phone, we will put you in touch with the nearest authorized service centre. The service centre will then schedule an on-site service call with you (providing you are within 80km) to help resolve your problem. If the problem is too technical or sensitive in nature or you are outside the 80 km radius Smartplan covers an overnight pick-up of your product delivered to the nearest service depot for repair. You also have the option of bringing your product directly to the nearest authorized service centre.

Transferable & Renewable
Smartplan is renewable at up until the last 90 days of coverage. If you wish to sell or upgrade your equipment, Smartplan's coverage is transferable to the new owner, free of charge.

Carry In Replacement Coverage

On-Site Service Upgrade
Some products carry standard manufacturer warranties that include limited on-site coverage. Our on-site service upgrade can match the length of the coverage of the manufacturer's warranty.
